About us
The South West London and Surrey Neurosciences Network covers a population of 3.2 million people across 12 hospitals within 7 trusts, accountable to 2 integrated care systems (ICSs).The objectives of the network are to:
- Improve population health
- Deliver integrated and networked care for specialised neurology
- Ensure that patients have timely access to the right care in the right setting
- Improve patient experience and outcomes

Examples of what we have been working on as a network to deliver better care for people living with a neurological condition.
SWL & Surrey Transformation Pilot
A pilot programme looking to improve neurological care for patients living across South West London and Surrey with Epilepsy, MND, FND, MS and Parkinson’s.
Regional protocols and pathways
Headache pathway we have introduced in order to streamline and simplify the referral process.
Networks
In addition to the established regional networks in Epilepsy, Multiple Sclerosis (MS), Functional Neurological Disorder (FND), Motor Neurone Disease (MND) and Parkinson’s Disease, there are other networks, services, and future developments uniting clinicians for better patients care.
